We aimed to compare demographics, medical residency features and adversities, and perceived health variables among residents of medical specialties with the highest and lowest report of suicide ideation during their residency and to identify the main features associated with suicide ideation. A cross-sectional, retrospective, comparative study was conducted on residents from each medical specialty through an online survey. Specialties were ranked according to the percentage of residents who reported having had suicide ideation at some point during their residency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
